The short version

We keep cookies to a minimum. Strictly necessary cookies always run so the site works. Analytics and marketing cookies runonly if you accept them through our consent banner, and you can change or withdraw your choice at any time. If you make no choice, only the strictly necessary cookies are set.

What a cookie is

A cookie is a small text file a website can store in your browser, for example to remember a setting. Similar technologies (such as local storage) work the same way, and we treat them the same way here.

Strictly necessary cookies (no consent needed)

These keep the site secure and working as you move around it. Because the site cannot function properly without them, GDPR does not require consent for them. We do not use them to track you across other websites.

Analytics cookies (consent required)

We use Google Analytics 4 (provided by Google Ireland Limited) to understand, in aggregate, how the site is used so we can improve it. These cookies are only setif and after you accept them through the consent banner. You can decline, and the site works fully either way. If you have not made a choice yet, no analytics cookies are set and no analytics data is sent.

When you accept, Google Analytics sets cookies named _ga and _ga_<id>that last up to two years and are used to tell visits apart. It is configured not to store your full IP address, and this may involve a transfer to Google in the USA under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. Full details are in our Privacy Policy.

Marketing cookies (consent required)

If you accept marketing, we may set advertising cookies from the ad platforms we use, for example Google Ads, Meta (Facebook / Instagram),LinkedIn or TikTok, so we can measure how our ads perform and show more relevant ones. These are only set after you accept marketing; if you decline, none are set. You can change this at any time.

Manage your choice

You can change or withdraw your consent at any time: click the small cookie button in the bottom-left corner of any page, or use the button below. Reopening it lets you accept or decline each category.

A note on the Kinu app

The Kinu app itself contains no analytics, advertising or tracking tools. It does not use cookies for tracking and does not profile you. How the app handles your data is described in our Privacy Policy.

The waitlist and contact forms

Our “Join the waitlist” and “Send message” forms live on this site and setno advertising or tracking cookies. When you submit one, your details are sent to our EU email provider (Brevo) so we can reply and, for the waitlist, add you to the list. How we handle that information is described in our Privacy Policy.
